Job Title: University Representative – China
Location: China. Preferably, any city in the southern or middle part of China.
Reports to: International Affairs Department, Bangkok University
Job Purpose:
To serve as Bangkok University’s key representative in China, with the aim of expanding
student recruitment, forming partnerships, and enhancing BU’s visibility in the Chinese market.
Key Responsibilities:
● Develop and manage recruitment strategies tailored to the Chinese market.
● Cultivate relationships with local agents, international departments of high schools, and
education platforms.
● Organise and attend education fairs, seminars, and webinars.
● Support Chinese students and parents with admissions, document preparation, and pre
departure information.
● Collaborate with Bangkok University’s marketing team for local campaigns and
promotions.
● Monitor and report on recruitment progress, student feedback, and local market
changes.
● Assist with other tasks as assigned, including supporting efforts to identify and recruit
new academic staff for Bangkok University.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree or above; experience in higher education recruitment preferred.
● Native Chinese speaker with strong English communication skills.
● Deep understanding of Chinese education preferences and cultural sensitivities.
● Knowledge of digital marketing platforms, such as WeChat, Weibo, and Douyin, is a
plus.
● Organised, proactive, and comfortable working with international teams.
● Able to travel within China and occasionally to Thailand.
